At SourcedBySab, we're all about finding beauty in the unexpected. Since the start of summer 2024, we’ve been working behind the scenes on something new and exciting: introducing reSourced Studios! This new line lets us blend our love for design with a commitment to sustainability, turning pre-loved pieces into something fresh and full of life.
Our first release under the reSourced Studios banner is the reSourced Studios x Russell Athletic Vintage Crewnecks. These aren’t just any sweatshirts; they’re a testament to our philosophy of reinvention—taking timeless quality and giving it a modern twist with a splash of creativity. The response to our initial drop was incredible, with the first batch selling out in just 48 hours! We know some of our community missed out (we feel your pain!), so we're closing out the summer with a much-anticipated second drop ;)

Introducing Resourced Studios
With reSourced Studios, we saw a chance to take these iconic sweatshirts and infuse them with our own artistic flair. We took the time to perfect every detail—from designing our branding and logos to selecting the perfect thread colours and logo placements. To bring our vision to life, we partnered with a local embroidery business. This collaboration allowed us to be hands-on in the reworking process, and it also gave us the opportunity to support a local enterprise we believe in. The result? Seriously sick sweatshirts that allow you to rep your local streetwear stór, added texture and visual appeal that make each piece truly unique. A classic monochrome base, a dash of creativity, and a pop of colour - each sweatshirt is a work of art we’re excited to share with you.

By upcycling vintage Russell Athletic crewnecks, we’re reducing waste and promoting a more thoughtful approach to fashion. Typically, producing a single cotton sweatshirt requires about 2,700 litres of water—from growing the cotton to manufacturing the garment. However, because we're reworking existing sweatshirts, the water-intensive phase is already complete. This means our reSourced Studios sweatshirts come with virtually no additional water usage, making them an even more eco-friendly choice.
